The reinvention of our business
Covid 19 is a terrible thing-many lives have been lost, many businesses have shut and millions have lost their jobs.
My wife and I are two 50 something year-olds who have run our own retail outlets for years. With the advent of the pandemic came a total shutdown of our economy as a countrywide lock-down came into effect.
The result is that both our stores have closed and all our staff were laid off.
We intend manufacturing a savory delicacy called a samoosa which we will market and distribute by means off a website and other online tools.
So, with very little fanfare, we are about to start this venture with a very limited budget, two vehicles and lots of optimism!
This blog will serve as a chronicle of our journey and will hopefully act as a living diary of how our family empire was established!
In this process ,we are going to have to acquire totally new skills and become quite tech savvy. We will faithfully document that journey.
So please endure the scantiness of this site as it is part of the rather steep learning curve we hope to conquer!
This weekend will be spent on
- tweaking our samoosa recipes
- deciding on the target market
- developing a marketing strategy
Till next Friday!
Cheers!!!
Brandon and Leona
